Our diverse, worldwide team of expert linguists have outstanding credentials, a state-of-the-art system, and support from one another.
Also called on-site translation, the interpretation occurs when our linguist goes back and forth with a client and states what has been said in English in the target language.
We recommend translating your power point and having our rep present separately in the target language. We can then address concerns that are unique to this group, and they are far more likely to engage and ask questions.

TRANSLATION FAQ'S
The document in the format it was created in (such as Word, Publisher, PPT, InDesign, etc.).
In source files, the text is editable, so our system can read it and we do not have to recreate material, which is time-consuming and drives up your costs.
Pretty much any, but SOURCE documents are MUCH preferred. Sending documents in the source format rather than a PDF will help us to streamline our process and contain your costs.
CAN work with it, and we’re happy to do so! Just know costs will be higher.
Yup. Just send links with editing permission.
Pretty much any. Throughout more than two decades in business, we have only had one request for a language that we could not meet, and it was Chaldean. Nope, we hadn’t heard of it either.
Anywhere from 3 days to four weeks. We really need to analyze the document to give you a meaningful answer to this one, so send us the file in question HERE. If it’s not final, send a draft or last year’s version, and we can give you a close approximation of both cost and TAT. We meet extremely tight deadlines, but surcharges usually apply.
We can, but we don’t recommend this, and we can’t guarantee accuracy. Words, punctuation, and accent marks can get dropped, fonts can get corrupted, etc. Our formatting process involves two professionals (one who does the DTP, and one who proofs) and ensures that your translated version is print-ready and reflects the English original.
We can, but we won’t, as this is almost always more expensive and time-consuming than simply redoing the translation ourselves from the English original. We will, however, evaluate them at no charge. We’ll tell you if the document is:
a. Clearly translated by a professional team. We might disagree with a term or two, but it’s a matter of opinion. You don’t need us.
b. Pretty solid. We’re seeing a few typos or other minor errors, but these can be fixed easily and cost-effectively. We’ll give you a quote, and it won’t break the bank.
c. Problematic, and that is being kind. It was translated either by a machine or by a bilingual person with no training or background in translation who was probably pulled away from their actual job. We’ll need the English original to generate a quote to retranslate.
You don’t have to! There is no need to send us a marked-up document or last year’s translations. Our system will detect any previously translated text and will prompt us to translate only what is new. We do, however, proof the entire document as part of our quality assurance.
We translate into neutral Spanish that will be best understood by the vast majority of Spanish speakers living in this country. The term for this is US Spanish. Yes, it’s a thing. It is NOT Spanglish.
